Snack Ideas

Hard boiled eggs

Avocados (try them sprinkled with sea salt) or guacamole

​

Baba Ghanoush (click on link for recipe to make your own) which is great with raw veggies

​

Raw veggies – carrots, cucumbers, celery, jicama, cauliflower, broccoli, bell peppers, snow peas etc.

​

Leftover roasted veggies – make several trays of these one day a week so you can enjoy them all week

​

Celery, carrots or fruit with nut butter – apple slices or banana with almond, cashew or mixed nut butter

​

Nuts and seeds – try roasting nuts sprinkled with sea salt in the oven at 325 degrees for 8-12 minutes or until fragrant and lightly browned. Stir half way through.

​

Olives

​

Beef jerky (only those without added sugar)

​

RxBars, Lara Bars (read the labels – some have added sugar; most do not)

​

Fresh fruit

​

Frozen grapes, blueberries, mangoes

​

Unsweetened applesauce

​

Dried fruits (without added sugar), but in moderation
