SWING INTO SPRING

6 Weeks to Better HEALTH, Better GOLF
Hosted by Dr. Mike Hendrixson, THE GOLF DOC

Join THE GOLF DOC, Dr. Mike Hendrixson, for 6 weeks of training to prepare you for the 2026 golf season.  The course offers insights and instruction that will help you:

  • develop a more efficient swing

  • hit the ball straighter more consistently

  • understand how your muscle flexibility and strength impact your swing mechanics

  • play with greater comfort and less stiffness/soreness the following day

Dr. Hendrixson is former professional golfer who combines a passion for golf with a physician's insight into the strength, flexibility, mobility and agility needed to help you enjoy and improve your game.

Mike has been a lifelong student of the game.  He brings unique insights as both a player and doctor.  He is passionate about sharing what he has learned through his pro experiences to enable you to unlock greater enjoyment and performance in the sport he loves.

Mike brings to the course his personal experiences from competing as a professional golfer.  Before going to medical school, Mike was a golf professional at Lexington Country Club.  Mike left that position to pursue his dream of being a professional golfer full-time.  He competed for several years in professional mini-tour events. Mike is well acquainted with the challenges of playing with muscle and back issues which caused him to leave the game. As a result, Mike became a student of the golf, with deep interest in the biomechanics of the golf swing.  Combining his personal experiences with this deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, Mike developed an approach to overcome his personal physical issues to return to the game he loves.  That allowed him to leave a thriving medical practice to again pursue a career in professional golf.  He spent a year playing and trying to qualify for the PGA Champions Tour.

As Mike resumed his medical career, he continued to deepen his knowledge of the biomechanics of golf and completed certifications by the highly regarded Titleist Performance Institute. Through it he has mastered the skills to evaluate and optimize a golfer's performance by understanding the critical connection between body movement and swing efficiency

Today, Mike continues to pursue competitive golf with the intention of qualifying for the Senior Open and Senior US Amateur.

If you are serious about upping the level of your your game or want to play better and with more comfort you'll want to join Mike and on this journey to prepare for the 2026 season.
