Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
It’s a model that begins where most practices fall short — starting with lifestyle and nutritional foundations and asking the deeper questions to uncover root causes.
At Bridge Street Health, we’ve reimagined what primary care can be by bridging the gap between conventional medicine and functional, lifestyle-based care. We show up not just as clinicians, but as trusted partners — walking with each patient on their unique path to lasting vitality and whole-person wellness.
Absolutely! We want to meet you too to make sure we’re a good fit for you and vice versa. Email us at info@bridgestreethealth.com to make an appointment. Or fill out the Contact Us form below.
No. We do not bill any insurance plans. If you have health insurance you can use it for outside services that are not part of your membership, such as labs, imaging, vaccines, medications or visits with specialists.
Your membership isn’t just about access — it’s about partnership. Here are some of the benefits you experience:
Unlimited visits that are unhurried, thoughtful, and focused on you. These may be routine primary care needs like when you are sick or managing a chronic health condition; your visits may also be more focused on improving your health through lifestyle and nutrition coaching.
Direct contact with your doctor—in person, text, call, or video
Root-cause care with deep dive assessments and personalized plans
Lifestyle support for nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, and more
Referrals & coordination when specialists or labs are needed — we guide the process
Your membership covers all visits and direct access to your provider, but some services fall outside of that monthly fee. These include services provided by other healthcare entities like:
Labs and bloodwork
Imaging (like X-rays or MRIs)
Prescription medications
Vaccines
Supplements and over-the-counter medications
While these aren’t included, we work hard to make them affordable and accessible:
We’ve partnered with local labs and imaging centers to offer discounted cash prices
We’ll always discuss costs upfront, so there are no surprises
We can help you find cost-effective prescription options, whether through local pharmacies or mail-order services
If you have health insurance, you can usually use this toward these items
Our goal is to keep your care simple, transparent, and budget-friendly — even beyond the exam room.
Because having insurance isn’t the same as having care.
Most insurance plans focus on what's covered, not what's needed. At Bridge Street Health, we focus on prevention, answers, and real connection—not rushed appointments or unnecessary referrals.
We require a deposit of $400 which is applied toward your membership fee. You can pay monthly, quarterly, biannually or annually. You get the equivalent of one month free if you opt to pay annually. We do not offer refunds if you choose to leave the practice before the year is up unless you relocate out of state.
HSA Accounts | Starting in 2026, the new federal guidelines allow up to $150/month for an individual or $300 for a family from an HSA account to be used toward direct primary care fees.
FSA Accounts | Flexible Spending Accounts are a little trickier. There are no federal rules about using FSA funds for memberships; it depends on your employer’s FSA administrator. We recommend checking with your specific plan administrator for the details.
Regardless of account type, we can provide detailed invoices upon request to make reimbursement easier.
We see patients 16 years and older.
No, but we gladly welcome patients who have Medicare coverage, including those age 65 and older. However, it’s important to know that Bridge Street Health does not bill Medicare for services.
Instead, we offer a simplified, membership-based approach that gives you direct access to personalized care—without copays, deductibles, or surprise bills.
We’ll make sure you understand how this works and support you in making informed decisions about your care. You’ll receive clear guidance on how our services complement your Medicare benefits, and we’re always here to answer questions.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
However, if you are have an urgent, non life-threatening medical need, call us first. We will help to guide you and may save you a trip to the ER or urgent care center. This is true even if you are out of town and need care or guidance about a health issue. Call us and we’ll help to guide you so you can make the best decision.
We understand that healthcare is personal, and finding the right fit matters. If you decide that Bridge Street Health isn’t meeting your needs, you’re free to cancel your membership at any time. The $400 initial deposit to join the practice is non- refundable even if you opt to leave the practice in the first two months.
If you paid for a year in full, we'll expect that you'll be with us for that year, unless you move out of our coverage area. Please ask if you have any questions before you sign up for this option.
If you can't find the answer to your question please contact us at info@bridgestreethealth.com or fill out the Contact Us form below, and we will get in touch with you.
